- Anatomy and physiology of the lactating breast
- Best practices for supporting breastfeeding after birth
- Supporting proper positioning and latch
- Infant reflexes and feeding cues
- How to know when baby is getting enough
- Early nursing challenges and management
- Red flags and when to refer to a specialist
Attendance fulfills the certification requirements for Birth and Postpartum Doulas with DONA International and provides 3 CEU’s from DONA.
